In India majority population is Hindu and Hindu festival in India and impact on society is obviously epitomic and rituals are very interesting. India is known as Country of festivals and every month and every week and even each day there is some festival in Hindu culture and it impact the lifestyle of common Indians. Hindus are religious and perform some kind of pooja (Prayers ) on each festive occasions. Some festivals are common across and almost all parts of India and some festival are state wise, Like Diwali, Dussehra also known as Vijayadashami, Holi are celebrated across India and some state wise like Brahmotsavam festival in Andhra Pradesh, Bohag Bihu festival in Assam, Daree festival in Arunachal Pradesh. Chhath Puja festival in Bihar India etc.

Celebration of Diwali - festival of Lights. Every year celebrated In October or November. It is 5 days celebration in memory of Lord Ram who came back to his Kingdom after 14 years of Banwas and killing Rawan the cruel king of Lanka. The Impact of this festival on society is that people clean their homes as well they learn a lesson from Lord Ram that truth will win even how much difficulties comes in life
Bohag Bihu Hindu festival to mark new year in Assam
Bohag -Bihu festival celebration in Assam- Bihu is 7 days celebration in Assam state of India celebrated in April of every year as a mark of new year associated with agriculture harvest. In this festival Assami Hindus dance and women make Rangoli at home so it is also known as Rangoli bihu festival. Society gets together and celebrated and impact of this that closeness and feelings of togethernes grow among societies.
