Hindus are religious and perform some kind of pooja (Prayers ) on each festive occasions. Some festivals are common across and almost all parts of India and some festival are state wise, Like Diwali, Dussehra also known as Vijayadashami, Holi are celebrated across India  and some state wise like Brahmotsavam festival in Andhra Pradesh, Bohag Bihu festival in Assam, Daree festival in Arunachal Pradesh. Chhath Puja festival in Bihar India etc.
